Ali Manouchehri on Trial at FCD

The FCD blog is reporting that Ali Manouchehri, a 21 year-old Iranian-Chilean Defender currently with Coquimbo in Chile (and on the Chilean U-23s) is currently at the Hut, trying out for the Hoops.

This video is really long — but shows off some of the things that Ali can do. He looks fast — real fast — but that may be because he’s playing against lower quality opponents.

It’s pre-season, but I’d be geeked to see this kid out there for us. (Skip to the 2 minute mark to see him do his best Toja impersonation. (That is, steal the ball, beat a few guys, and crash and burn in the box with reckless abandon…)
