David Beckham’s mates on the English National Team chipped in to buy him a golden iPod in honor of his 100th cap. What else were they going to do? What do you get a guy who has everything? England now has 5 “centurions” (guys who have played in at least 100 matches with the National Team): David Beckham, Billy Wright, Sir Bobby Charlton, Bobby Moore and Peter Shilton.

Here at Los Toros Central, we’ve dispatched our crack team of researchers to find out what these other legendary footballers got to commemorate their 100th games. Here’s what I they found out:

  • Sir Bobby Charlton: World Cup Winner; survivor of the Munich air disaster.
  • Bobby Moore: The honor of being the most capped outfield player for England, World Cup winner.
  • Peter Shilton: The honor of being the most capped player ever for England; 10 clean sheets in World Cup Play.
  • Billy Wright: Peerless professional for England during wartime: never cautioned or sent off by any referee.
  • David Beckham: Married to Posh Spice; received red card against Argentina in 1998 World Cup Final. Received golden iPod filled with Spice Girls tunes.
