A tale of two halves.. Dallas practically dominated Columbus for the first 45minutes, but lost their way in the second. Columbus meanwhile played with much more intensity in the second half, and got the goals that turned the result around.

 Conclusion…

 It was all about the half time speech.

    Saw a Columbus Crew jersey tonight in Manchester. (Really.) Didn’t have the heart to tell the guy that he sucked.

    I was walking thru the square, past a bunch of drunk ManU fans (are there any other kind?) who were challenging each other’s knowledge of football songs. It went something like this:

    Bloke: Oy, bet ya don’t know any Cardiff songs.
    Chappie: I knew your mother.
    Bloke: Oy, then you must have known some songs. She did thems whole team in her day.
    Chappie: Oy, but I bet you don’t know any Hull City songs…
    Bloke: Oh, but I do, but I do!
    Chappie: Oy, so you know any Preston or Salford songs?
    Bloke: Nah, because Salford is such sh*te they don’t have any songs.

    (Sorry for not transcribing the Mancunian accent… it’s Ross Perot drunk on wine coolers hilarious…)
