Getting started right where we left off...
Ok so clearly I’ve been slacking off on doing theses MMPs. Maybe I’ll get back in the rythm of doing them, probably maybe not.
FCD has been pretty consistent so far: play a better possession game than last year and yet lose anyway. Not really a whole lot to discuss on that matter, so let’s move on. I thought it appropriate that, given all the new faces, I dedicate most of this post to the new kids on the block.
You might think the upcoming Iron Man film used special effects. Don’t believe the website, the wikipedia page, the blogs (what do they know anyway). My gut feeling tells me Abe Thompson spent his off-season waiting for Robert Downey Jr to pretend getting into an iron suit so he could walk on the set and do the real acting. Heck, he doesn’t even need to wear a suit, the make-up artist just painted the suit on all Sports Illustrated Swimsuit style.

This real-life Tony Stark didn’t even need an iron suit to drop a brace on the best soccer team in Canyon TX. Comparable to how last year he dropped a brace on the 2nd best team in Columbus OH.
Sure, one of his goals today was a PK. But for those of us that were there to watch it, he basically yawned, nonchalantly tapped it in past the helpless keeper (polar opposite of one of those Landycake PKs). But I guess when you’re used to fighting fighting the likes of Whirlwind, a PK is a yawning affair.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from those of us too lazy to post frequently at los-toros.com. For those of you that went to the KC game, there’s really no way you would have missed the banner if you were in the west or south stands. We didn’t have an official Los Toros section for this game, but we put it in the section we will use (so we didn’t get the adrenaline rush that being within the vicinity of the banner provides). For those of us cool enough to be in the east stands, here’s a idea of how massive it is:
